Welcome to GuideED Consulting

GuideED is a personalized educational consulting practice that helps families navigate school and university options and make informed decisions that truly align with their needs and values.  Whether you are choosing your child’s first school, making subject or curriculum related decisions in the middle school years or applying to universities abroad or in India, I provide thoughtful and practical support every step of the way. 

With over 17 years of experience in classrooms, counselling offices and a university admissions office, and as a parent myself, I bring both professional insight and personal experience to the support I offer.  This blend of perspectives allows me to guide families with empathy, clarity and an understanding of the choices they navigate. 

 GuideED Consulting is an independent practice that I run alongside my role as Head of University Guidance Counselling at an international curriculum school in Mumbai. I intentionally work with a limited number of families so I can stay closely involved and provide support that is personalized, thoughtful and contextual.

Over the years, I have partnered with families across India and beyond, each with their own hopes, questions and unique circumstances. I have supported them through all kinds of decisions, some clear and straightforward, others more layered and complex.

What makes GuideED different is the combination of vast experience, genuine insight and the kind of personal attention that comes from a practice where I work directly with every student and family.

 I offer two types of support, depending on your needs:

Flexible consultations – Ideal for school-related decisions, specific questions during the middle or high school years, or targeted support with particular university applications or portals. These sessions simply allow you to seek an opinion or assistance when you need it, without any ongoing commitment. Families reach out at several different points in their journey, and this flexibility lets us work in a way that genuinely meets you where you are.

 University guidance – For high-school students preparing for university, I work with a limited number each year through a structured, personalised process. This approach provides the continuity, depth, and steady support needed to develop thoughtful, well-presented applications.
